Auto lap&manual lap
-
A question. Can I set following two screens in s9 and get following data during one activity?
-
Average pace automatic lap, automatic lap distance, automatic lap time
-
Average pace manual lap, manual lap distance, manual lap time
- manual lap > pressed lap button
Auto lap ->default 1 km

@Maryn
I’ve had a thought about this, too (for ascent values…) but came to the conclusion that lap is lap and the watch does not destinguish between manual or autolap -
Currently I am testing Vantage V because of service repair of my s9.
I have configured these two screens. Normaly I use autolap screen but during run when I want to do some fartlek or other training I change the screen and use a watch tap to set a new lap. Its very usefull. -
@Maryn interesting. I don’t think it would be terribly difficult for Suunto engineers to develop something like that, as if you have autolaps and do intervals you already get different kind of laps.
-
Yes you can. I use it always. And in Suunto app you will have the resume of the manual laps and the automatic laps.
-
@Bulkan Can you see the summary of the manual laps and auto laps in separate display screens during the activity though? Or only in the SA after you have completed your workout?
-
@Jonathan-Schwarz you can see it during the workout in the watch and after the workout in suunto app.
-
@Bulkan but there is a one but… If use manual lap and after some time auto-lap appears then your manual lap is counted from autolap to next manual button hit or next autolap. Thats the issue .
-
@Maryn it depends how your screen is set up.
When I’m using intervals (2km or 5km) I use one screen for manual laps, with the current pace, power of last manual lap, time of this manual lap, the time of the last lap…
And I have another screen for autolaps.
The info is separately showed.
Even in the screen of laps you can play with the info you want.

@Bulkan it is showed seperately during activity or after it in Sunnto App?
