SSWHR + belt -> heart rate wrong
-
Hi,
In my case, I had the same problem as you, an imprecise HR reading, so I had the idea, in addition to the recommended cleaning, to use a Compex gel for electrodes. Since then no more reading errors. I found mine in a Decathlon (I do not know if the sign exists in your country).
Have a good day

I’m having the same problem, sometimes, data from belt is non-sense, I will try to use with Compex to see if this could resolve the problem, because following the instructions, I clean up the belt after 3-4 uses.
-
@aldnet omg, I never cleaned my hrm-tri and worked just fine
-
@slashas
You have seen the strange behaviour of my belt, last chance, if not, I will speak with the support team.
You are using hrm-tri with your suunto?
-
@aldnet Sometimes I use Decathlon belt or H7 polar belt, and without problems…
-
@suzzlo yes, and i don’t want to make publicity but take a look to the price of Decathlon belt… compared to others.
-
@luís-pinto I started using with my Sony SW60 Android Wear smartwatch years ago, and still works well
-
@suzzlo Sometimes 3rd parts have quality. And in our days came from China interesting gadgets.
-
@aldnet no, broke it long time ago, I use scosche. BTW hrm-tri is only ANT+ so wont work with spartan line.
-
@slashas Take a look for dual BLE+Ant solution in Decathlon. Not a single problem until now (1 year).
-
@luís-pinto said in SSWHR + belt -> heart rate wrong:
Decathlon
I use scosche rhythm+ withous any issues as well, I do weight lifting so chest strap is not comfortable for me.
-
@slashas Yes, optic sensors in watch are more convenient.
-
@luís-pinto for weight lifting watch ohrm isnt the best solution cause of wrist move, but scosche on forearm works just flawless.
-
@slashas We can’t have everything…
For example a use dual protocol Decathlon HR sensor with a t-shirt with technical tissue that have belt inside. Its more comfortable.
I think optic or some type of new technology will improve. -
@luís-pinto just to spice it up: ohr latetly also supports ibi (rr)
@slashas the schotche also supports ibi but it does it quite bad.
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos ibi rr?
-
@luís-pinto interbeat interval. Useful for hrv and vo2max
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos is this just IBI at rest, or in motion too? And, and: is there a device available to buy, or is this still testing?
-
@luís-pinto you are wrong, as I am hitting my chest quite frequently and this way I have broke hrm-tri and suunto sensors with dumbbell and weight bar. For running or biking this is ok, but not for weight lifting
