Suunto 9 Baro + app + apple healthkit = not talking

Why can’t I get them to work together? My Apple health app picks up my Strongifts 5X5 daata through my S9 but will it register my Suunto app hiking/running data? No. Will someone kindly tell me how or where to look to find an answer? Thanks E
