Definitely press send logs any app Desktop or Mobile that you use.

@ze-stuart I might sound like support but perhaps one solution would be to factory rest via forgetting from movescount.
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos yes, they escalated to T2 to investigate. I’ll update for completeness here when they do.
-
Update, for the curious: this has now reached L3 support, and happened part way through a bike ride today (profile: cycling, basic and the only sensor connected was a Wahoo TICKR).
-
I had a crash again yesterday, during GPS soaking. This is my 5:th time in a couple of weeks.
-
Remind me, is GPS soak after starting, but with the activity paused, or on the screen just before one presses start?

What I mean by GPS soak is to perform an stationary GPS activity (approximately 5-10 min) to make sure the watch has best possible GPS reception. I remove this activity before starting again.

I also had a crash today but had no phone with me. Hmmmm. I never had a crash since the update

Welcome to the club…

I wonder if these crashes are related to memory leaks accumulating in the watch or if it is it app sync caused?
I will do a complete SW reset of the watch and see what happens… -
Crash number six this morning, this is really becoming a big problem.
-
@johan6504 you are exercising with phone or without? I had crash only without the phone.
-
Th crash is directly at start or within 2 min no phone involved.
-
@johan6504 did you do the reset ?
-
@dimitrios-kanellopoulos No not yet…
It seems like if I get it going it wont crash during a run, at least that has never happened so far. I have a planed 30 Km LSD at 14:00. Will do the reset after that. -
@johan6504 good luck

I will do a complete SW reset of the watch and see what happens…I’ve been wondering about a memory leak. I noticed that after the last crash, it also deleted the sleep and sleep HR data for the day.
I hope everyone here has logged this with Suunto support!

The latest from Suunto as of 2018-02-26:
Our Technical supervisor and analyst have finally responded and identified the bug that is causing this and is currently working with the software designers and engineers to provide a solution via an update.
So, hopefully a fix in the next firmware update.

Great

My SSU did this today as well. Seems that it’s not limited to just the WHRB models. When is that next FW update…?
