@estevez Now it is fast and I don’t have problem with long activity any more. My last long activity was 5 ours with 1 sek GPS. App versjon 1.10.0 (7268) iPhone 6 iOS 12.3.1.
And Ambit 3 peak. -
@KnutB Thats really weird; I have the same “configuration” (except with iPhone 8), and in my case syncing is very slow.
@KnutB: Do you wear heart rate monitor chest strap during activity? I do.
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos: Has been anything hapenning with user accounts (some upgrade or something)? Cca 7-14 days ago I noticed, that my name showed with activity is misspelled. -
@estevez my 6ouer move 22.06 sync very slow (3-4 days). About two weeks (02.07.2019) later I went hiking and had many long moves with 1 min GPS and the sync was fast (about 10-15 min?). So the last day I changes the setting to 1sek GPS, and also that move (5 ouer with 1sek GPS and rout navigation) took 10-15 min to synck.
No HR on the 5ouers move, but the day before I run 2h50m with HR (1sekGPS and rout navigation) and that also sync fast. -
@lohtse Very surprising. For me and my A3 Peak, Android Suunto App is always incredibly faster and more reliable for sync than Movescount App.
-
Same here - syncing A3P with SA on my Android 9 is more stable and faster compared to MC . For my 20-40min commute rides I hear SA & Strava notifications about minute or 2 after stopping the activity. And unlike MC, SA is actually able to handle all the syncing in background, without any manual interaction.
What does take a lot of time is the first sync with SA, either after clean install or after clearing app data - about an hour or so. That is with a full watch logbook.
-
Yes, I’m loving the speed of the app lately. Yesterday morning, I finished my run, took my shoes off, opened the app, and the activity had already synced and gone to strava. What a pleasant surprise!
-
The sync speed of SA and my SSWHRBaro is best I could imagine at this point. Every workout, right after activity is already synced and moreover, syncing with thirdparties is as fast as with SA ( Strava, ReLive and TrainingPeaks ). Only time I had to open app and sync myself was to get recent sleep data ( which also was quick ). From my point of viee, indeed, a job well done! Finished workout, open all apps, SuuntoApp, TrainingPeaks, Strava and all data is already ready for viewing

However, in some cases problems with syncing Ambit 3 and SA persist.
And @KnutB “sync was fast (about 10-15 min?)” - well, I think this times are not very fast (however better than hours / days )

Mine is minutes, probably under a minute for a 3-4 hour activity.
-
Totally agree with you!!
-
5 min to sync to Suunto app, Trainin Peaks, Strava an Relive for One ouer move with 1sek GPS. That’s Okay fore me
-
@KnutB Same here, syncs like a dream now ️

Possible only effects older barely supported watches such as Ambits…
