        @zzmike76 975 is too low for sea level pressure

            So for your place here is the current day value and prediction of SEALEVEL pressure not absolute pressure.

                @zzmike76 here you can see ambient pressure (stations niveau) and sea level pressure. https://www.bergfex.ch/aargau/wetter/stationen/wuerenlingen--psi/

                    @zzmike76 on a raspberry you get the pure pressure reading of the sensor. like @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos wrote. if you want the sea level pressure you have to write a script which calculates the ambient pressure (station niveau) to the actual elevation and temperature. you need a temperature sensor value too, or input the temperature and elevation manually. but don’t take the pressure sensor on the raspberry as 100% trusted. i got two of them which are a little bit of. 🙂

                        @zzmike76 no problem. I was confused at start as well.

                          @General_Witt very strange. WTF. Did you get the new unit back ?

                          I’m still in “received” status. They got the watch wednesday, I’m waiting for some response these days.
                          Anyway I tried both manual and auto altitude calibration with no avail.

                          any update ? Does Suunto found something wrong?

                            They re calibrated the barometer.
                            I still get pressure differences from the government weather station, but I get very accurate altitude readings.
                            2 days ago I was on a 2481 meters peak and the watch read 2482.
                            I summited 3 peaks in the last week with very accurate readings every time, so even if I’m still kinda pissed off by the pressure mystery at the same time I’m okay with the mountaineering performance of the watch, the most important thing to me.

                              @General_Witt just a hint. if you compare the sea-level-pressure with a weather station (at least i know that for the ambit3) make sure the weather station reports the values in QNH (like the Airport reports to the Airplanes) this value shows sea level pressure calculated allways with 15° Celsius. doesn’t matter which temperatur is has. many weather stations are calculating the SLP with the actual temperatur.

                                @General_Witt give us some data.

                                Eg area and time with watch vs station pressure. We can look up to other services.

                                  Spartan measure SLP correctly only if you entre your reference altitude under outdoor and also make sure that Auto adjust latitude is working by default to keep track of the changes in Altitude. I can confirm that my Spartan Hr Baro is always reporting 2hPa higher than my Traverse and local weather station. So a discrepancy of 2hPa is acceptable due probably the different sensors used in different watches however, anything below -/+ 5 hPa I would consider sending the watch away for fixing. I hope this helps
