      Well, not really normal.
Maybe you need to calibrate the battery. Let it discharge completely and then charge it and see what will happen.

If it never reach 100% (or 99% on trainer) the battery probably needs a replacement.

          Ohh …

Did you try to connect it to a computer usb ?
Let’s say that calibration could be necessary anyway

@sartoric I connected it to a computer only for setup. Not really into charging it things that way, so that can’t be an option. Might try with a less powerful charger (5V/1A).

Regarding the calibration, I’ll try to do it, but not really sure how that procedure might be relevant in this case, since we’re talking about time to charge, not battery reading/accuracy.

Some chargers (and even more so powerbanks) switch off, once the charging current is below a certain threshold.
For the watch, the current is 350mA at the beginning and less and less, once the battery fills.

Hi. i also experience charging issues when using my cellphone charger, used several different ones. maybe it is due to the explanation as per @Egika 's message.

I also found long charge times and also sometimes that it shows the battery is full but then drops quite rapidly after charging.

Unfortunately i also found the best charging results when doing it via the laptop.

@gerhardusvb I got it working better with a generic 5V/1A charger I had lying around. Got really fast to 99%, mas got stuck there for the last couple of hours without moving. Unplugged the damn thing and immediately dropped to 90%. Plugged it into the PC and went up to 95% instantaniously. It’s the 1st time I’m charging it since I bought it but boy, this is some erratic behavior for an electronics device.

It was said somewhere that watch won’t charge to 100% with wall charger, but only with computer 🙂 *

The program that shows the battery capacity is
not starte of the art, i guess this can be improved…

As I said 99% is ok on trainer

If it never reach 100% (or 99% on trainer)

Trainer battery management, due to the cheaper/lower level battery and components, lacks a bit of precision, and it measures battery discharge by 10% steps (maybe 15% idrw)
