Movescount not tracking progress since week 1 2019?
-
this issue is under fix
-
Thank goodness. Thanks for the info, @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos .
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos your word in gods ear
-
The issue seems to be resolved as of today (my run of today shows correctly), but previous moves between early January and today do not show in the graph. A minor annoyance, but very happy to have these features back!!!
Edit: snapshot
-
Is that issue fixed?
I’m experiencing same lack of sync of moves to movescount.com. Since 9th Feb no moved from my Spartan are available on movescount.com (web). The moves goes to SA. Even connection via USB to Suuntolink does not make the moves available.
I also noticed that Suuntolink does not start a browser session with www.movescount.com which was the case earlier.
Do you know any work around?
-
@Clausam For me it’s working. Could it be possible that you are using features of SA that disable syncing with MC (namely routes or sports customisation from SA)? If this is the case and you want to keep tracking progress in MC you will have to reset your watch.
-
@jsuarez As you state, it may the case it is caused by SA because I basically switched to use SA on my phone only (as recommended somewhere). My aim was to use SA on my phone and MC on web (sync via USB and to get more detailed analysis).
Do you know if that would be a possible use case here during the transition phase? -
@Clausam it’s tricky but doable. Search the forum here and you should find a thread w instructions.
Short of it is, if you use sports mode customization through the app you won’t be able to use MC.
-
@stromdiddily Thanks, I think this may be the reason because I’m recently started to use sports mode customization via the SA and it could well be same time the sync to MC stopped working.
If this is the case, I think I would go back to Movecount on my phone and not use SA so far.
The SportsTracker app on the phone anyway provides basically the same data presentation than SA (it looks SA and SportsTracker app are the same app) . -
@Clausam I don’t use SA’s sport mode customisation nor route editor. That’s why I can sync to MC. I intend to do so until MC is closed or SA gets a web frontend.
If that is also valuable to you, search on the forum how to reset the watch and connect again to both MC and SA.

@jsuarez Thanks for the hint. I found the post with the Parallel use:
https://forum.suunto.com/topic/668/parallel-use-with-mc-app/6
It looks the new Moves are now synched to MC.
However the moves I made during in the period where there was not sync to MC, but only SA, they are not synched to MC. -
Seems like movescount is not tracking progress again… Any known problem, @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos ?
-
@jsuarez no known issue…
-
This is what I get today…
-
@jsuarez
It’s working normally as of today and it even reflects the moves of the last few days. -
yeah I reported that
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos cheers for that!
-
Again the “trend graphic” no longer shows the progress for 10 days.

Can confirm that. Since 1 November, no results appear on movescount’s yearly progress.
