@OutdoorMan in what area? Video of the lag would be useful

@2b2bff that is not me and that’s exactly what I experience.
@pavel.samokha basically what @2b2bff posted, but I will try to record it next time.

Maybe many small buildings can contribute to render lag

@pavel.samokha in the woods, with no buildings, but same behaviour.

@OutdoorMan it doesn’t sound normal, video and location would be welcome next time to test

@pavel.samokha Did you figure it out? I’m having the same problem with my new Race 2… My Suunto Race 1 used to run much more smoothly🙁

Edit: It seems to be “fused direction”, which uses compass when stationary and GPS while above ~ 2 km/h.

Here’s a video showing it (https://www.youtube.com/shorts/z4jKA1T2oRw). I don’t know if this is how it’s supposed to work or if there’s some kind of glitch…

@usainzg I think it’s ok. When standing still, compass is used. While walking the direction from GPS is used. You won’t by rotating your hand while running or walking… I’ll try it on my watch too.

@usainzg in my case it was a bit different. There was a clear lag when panning around the map. I had a video, but unfortunately deleted it as it improved and seems to be ok now.
