@isazi I have Always on display off and Raise to wake display only. I’m using Athletics watch face. I experienced another reboot a couple of hours ago.

@isazi @viduc In comparsion with yoor crashes mine reboots are less frequent. It usually occurs once 3-4 days, but it is a week old watch. Don’t know what to do really. Isazi, you are a moderator and a knowledgeable person on the issues, should I return the watch or wait for this issue to be resolved in future updates? What’s your take on this?

@Thorlap71 it is not up to me to say, I have a Race 2 but with another firmware and it never crashed on me, and I have not seen these random reboots in daily mode reported anywhere. In your case I would ask for a replacement watch and see if the behavior is different. I will forward all this info to Suunto anyway.

@isazi I was contacted after the reboot phenomenon returned on a new watch after being replaced due to the phenomenon, meaning it happened on two new watches. We downgraded the version in the hope that it was a software problem.

@Danny-poleg Before trying to get my watch replaced because of reboots, do you think I should try to revert my watch back to 2.48.16 firmware which is the only previous version available in my “Select OTA pkg”. Is this a reasonable thing to do?

Personally, I haven’t tried it. Someone I spoke to did it and I still haven’t received an update from him on whether it had any effect.

@Danny-poleg Ich habe mit der Race 2 auch 2 Abstürze gehabt und fehlerhafte Workouts mit fehlenden HF Daten. Ich bin jetzt auf die April Firmware zurück. Damit gibts keine Probleme. Suunto, wo ist der Hotfix?

                    Hello.

I downgraded and no more reboot. It usually rebooted3-4 times a days, at rest as well as during activity.

                    Regard

@isazi Concerning my reboots in time mode, I found out they happen after I charge the watch. I see the pattern now. I charged the watch on19th and had a couple of reboots. I recharged the watch yesterday evening and has a reboot today in the morning. So there might be some issue here. I read somehere that you should not recharge your watch with a powerbank. I use iphone adapter for charging. Is this a known issue? Still not sure whether to ask for a replacement or not.

@Thorlap71 try a different charger to check, I use any random charger I have around though, so I doubt that is the case, but you never know. If I was you I would contact support, and ask for a replacement if under warranty.
