Hi fans, as a newcomer to the Suunto platform (I’ve switched from Garmin), a few things have struck me about my Race 2. Perhaps these are deliberate design choices by Suunto, or maybe I just haven’t quite got the hang of how it works yet. Support isn’t replying to my emails. Maybe you lot can help.

      1. On my Garmin, I can swipe left during an activity to return to the normal watch interface. That doesn’t seem to be possible on the Race 2. As a result, during a long activity, I miss out on all those cool Race 2 features like the weather forecast, temperature, steps, timer, etc. How can I access them during an activity without stopping it?
      2. In the Suunto app on iOS, you can view activities from the past. However, these are often displayed in green, so you can barely see them on the map. They’re also shown in red on your activity overview, so I don’t really understand why they’re almost invisible here in green. Can you change that colour to red as well?

@jj-frl For the first topic, you simply do not.

This is not a problem for me, as when I’m doing an activity, I’m busy doing the activity so I’m not going to interrupt my running, weightlifting, etc. to do something else like check the weather. If I’m done with my activity, then I end it and then can use other features of the watch. The only time this might be relevant for me is if I’m going for a walk which is low effort, and there, I will have my iPhone with me so would use that for other things.

I don’t understand the second question. What exactly is displayed in green/red? The “trace line” of your run for me is in red not green. Can you show a photo? Anyway, I suspect there’s not a way to change what you’re seeing.
