@MikeC30 I’ve asked about this on another thread but so far there’s been no clarification. I’m 100metres from the sea near Arisaig and mine just says ‘Scotland’. I would very much like to know where the data is taken from - if it’s a tidal reference port it really needs to name that. I asked if the system was clever enough to calculate tides for the exact location but I stand to be corrected. I doubt this is possible due to local variations etc and in any case (sorry if you already know this) most calculations used for planning etc are based on times plus or minus reference ports so for practical purposes I think that would be better.
Comments were made in the other thread about other better sources for tidal info - I agree but I like having it on the watch as well and have found myself referring to it regularly. -
@MarkG in my experience I got “Italy” when far away from the sea, or various town names when closer. Tested it in Italy and the Netherlands. Maybe there is an issue with your specific location that I can report.

@isazi the best Option would be to make a actual poi in the suunto map in the App and from this point you will get the nearest Tide Infos. This Automatic Location is not good sometines!

I continue to have issues as well with the tide widget. I was on the west coast of Scotland beside the sea near Fort William at the start of the week and the widget started working again but still only gave my location as Scotland. I’m back on the east coast of Scotland again and the widget is not working. I am standing right beside the sea as I type this.

It does not work for me either, I tried also the air plane mode, reset the app, restart the watch. I am 300m from the sea and it does not work.After last update also battery status is doing strange things. I was snorcheling and received 5% battery remaining warning. After ending sportmode the status was 10%
I recharged to 99%.
I was cycling for 1,5h and went swimming for 30min, it dropped to 90%, which is more than usual. After restart (as above) it changed to 93%.
