Are there any updates regarding a software fix for the random reset issue?

At the moment, my watch has been restarting itself multiple times, which is becoming a serious problem. Many users seem to be experiencing similar issues, so I’d like to know if Suunto is currently working on a firmware update to improve system stability and resolve these unexpected reboots.

Any official news or estimated release date for a fix would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using Interval-Guides? Random reboots seem related to the Guides. If it’s your case, can you try using the watch without using Interval guides temporarily? To verify if the watch doesn’t reboot.

@Speed-Man There is also this thread , so the issue is somewhat known and being worked on.

This is a good time to remember people that if you have issues and properly report them, they can be fixed in time for next release.

Option to turn off that dotted ring on a map. Two effects

          • Declutter the map, especially after adding the icons

          • No more confusing the ring with a trail

About labels and elevation lines value on maps : I didn’t had focused so much on it because I mostly used my SV1 in situations I could have need it.

But after looking at a friend coros map, and after that going back to my SRs : labels are almost unreadable compare to what coros displays.
It would be great as I mentionned :

            • to have a display of altitude lines adapted to zoom level
            • bigger/more readable font

Unless I searched badly, I didn’t saw a lot of feedback about it
Besides that, I much prefer Suunto map rendering.

            Suunto’s devices at home :

@aiv4r I dont think its RIP. We could could not deliver the update in a stable way there. And for that we could not stall the updates for the other watches.

Although Suunto’s strategy seems to be not communicating on release dates 😁, can we hope for a Vertical 1 update before the summer? 😉We are impatiently waiting for it!⌚️
              Thanks !

I think, that eventually it would have been good for the SV1 owners to skip this update (I hope we will have more updates 🤞 ) I see some issues with last update that I guess will be solved within next update, where I hope SV1 is included and bug free.

Thanks for the update and kudos to Suunto team!

I experience a bug with resources after the update: they basically stay way too high through days with small rises over night. This does not correlate neither with HRV, sleep duration and HR data, nor with how I actually feel.
Resources metrics worked never perfect for me, but it became a bit more useful from January till now.

Does anybody else experience similar bug?

                  Hi Alonso,

Yes same for me, I’ve had my new Suunto 9 Peak Pro for around a month - I’m hoping this can be fixed as a bug as it is an existing feature. It just doesn’t respond to daily life really & keep getting 100% sleep quality & 100% resources which I never get with other watches I’ve owned. Min/Max heart rate all set correctly.

                  Martin

Does S9PP receive stability updates in future (no new functions, just reliability, in future?

Don’t know if this is expected behavior or a “bug”, but in indoor swimming, I have to set again the pool length after each reboot of the watch. This does not happen with other sport mode setting (like selected suunto-plus, brightness settings ecc).

It would be nice if also the pool length setting is remembered. I think that many swimmers (or at least me) most of the time swim in the same pool, with the same pool length

Suunto Race 1 and SuuntoApp on Android 13.
