SuuntoPlus App: Stifa - a few questions

Tried this new app on a trail run today, it’s quite interesting to me in its simplicity.
If I understand well the “HOW IT WORKS” part, the guidance is based on the expectation that you stay in Z2 (HR) on flat terrain, Z3 on hilly/rolling terrain, and in Z4 on steep ascents. Is this right?
I think I saw some “push” when I was in Z3 on a hilly section and, well, I didn’t feel like pushing

Are the zones read from my settings? If saw, why does it need to read my max HR setting?
Last, what’s the Snitt metric on the SA activity summary?
