Back from Winter, first ride with Race, bug still there. :-(
-
Hi there!
I just returned from Winter with my first outdoor rideâŠ
The Race has new firmware compared to last year, but the bug in losing Power Meter connectivity when doing a short break is still there.
My Wahoo Speed play Pedals go into sleep mode when pausing for a few minutes - the Race does not know the sensor anymore and there is absolutely no way to rescan, rettigger, whatever. The only solution is to stop the activity and start a new one.I have raised this here before - but no Suunto developer is interested in fixing this issue for good. I simply hate this attitude.
This has NOT been a bug prior to the massive rework of the BT stack last year. So Suunto basically destroyed the product after purchase and does not care.
Please help.

@Olaf-Gottschalk should be fixed in the next firmware, if not let us know and Iâll report it again.

Do you really think your rhetoric helps? Or encourages someone to spend their own time to help you? Perhaps reflect on that.

@Brad_Olwin who are you?
I am absolutely PISSED at a company that destroys a product through software âupdatesâ and then does not care.So - you want to tell me this is my fault - really?
Ridiculous. -
@isazi thank you so much - I am really looking forward to that fix!!! (Happened again todayâŠ

Did you even read what he wrote? Who is talking about a âfaultâ ?
Relax man, take a deep breath

@jmolenaar2 I did, of course. Why do people who have no solution and donât want to help answer at all? I mean, of course it is offending me when I have a problem for many, many months and ask for help and people turn around who donât want or even cannot help and say itâs me and the way I get annoyed.
I would never answer anybodyâs post if I cannot add anything to the issue and cannot help. Why should I?

@Olaf-Gottschalk I think you are forgeting that it is community forum and not a Suunto support channel. I get it is frustrating, but make a support ticket, report a bug in a proper way, writing it on this forum does not make it official. And since it is forum for a community, you will get some useful answers and you will get some random text, that is usually how communities work.
Anyway, I really hope your problem will get fixed.
