Suunto Spark

@Speed-Man I think you have to use a SuuntoPlus app. But I’m not sure because I have no Spark.
-
@Speed-Man Did you turn on the connection switch on the watch?

-
@Svenning I can connect now. It seems like I need to keep the Suunto app open on the headphone connection screen for the headphones as well, and then the connection works more easily. Not sure if I’m understanding this correctly though.

@Mitch9 what does the voice actually say that you couldn’t get through regular headphones and the Suunto app and the „voice feedback“ (Sprachwiedergabe) workout option?
-
I’m a little confused with the need for the Suunto plus. Is this for metrics from the workout?
My user case would be simply listening to music or taking a call.
I’m guessing with that usage it would be a simple turn the headphones on, connect to the phone and away you go?

@Audaxjoe I tested it once without combining the metrics; instead, it creates separate activities specifically to measure running dynamics. So I think it may not be necessary to connect it to the watch, unless you want to listen to the voice feedback. I’m still not completely sure though, since I’ve only tried it 2–3 times.
-
@mickywickyftw It’s specifically about using headphones without a phone, by leaving the phone at home.
-
@Audaxjoe yep they’re headphones, so for calls and music, you can just connect to your phone and your good to go

I have to go deeper into user guide (and Spark app?) because yesterday I was on a small hike, watch recording activity, and listening to music into the spark. I accidentally launched « start activity » of the spark meanwhile ; after I stopped it, it recorded directly in the app a running activity with metric. Watch still recording my hike.
I don’t know if it’s because I was not on a running activity or if running metrics are anyway recorded appart watch activities.
