I also see increased drain with this watch face, but only when the watch is worn. No drain during the night when the watch lies on the desk.

I suspect it did impact my S9PP so I changed it after half a day

Yes, I have the battery problem too. With both the SR2 and the V2.

Might be related to using compass data (?) It’s updated real-time when the compass complication is selected. Maybe the watch face keeps the compass active.

@gkaempfer I noticed increased battery drain on my Race 1 after installing the Vector so went back to Outback Adventure.

Annoyingly I’m still seeing the battery draining much quicker than it did previously despite un-installing the Vector completely…

@halajos This is my hypotheses as well!

The other is. The AOD is quite bright. It could be helpful if the numbers were in colour and if the number weren’t filled in (like the AOD of Outback Adventure

@Mattg576 Me too! But then I reset it and it seems like back to normal.

I do not experience a bigger battery drain with Race S. Lucky me.

I reverted back to the Athletics watch face (+ soft reset for good measure). Immediately my battery consumption is back to where it was before. It seems that the specific complications may have significant effect on battery usage. I have the following on Athletics:

                        1. Steps
                        2. Weekly training duration
                        3. Callories
                        4. HR
                        5. Battery % left.

I guess that getting immediate reading of compass, barometer and elevation requires some background work that consumes battery. What I don’t really understand is why this is needed even during activities (where I also observed significant increased battery usage)
