Vector Classic watchface causing battery drain?
-
Has anyone else noticed faster battery drain since moving to the Vector watch face?
I track my battery usage very closely and since moving from the Athletics watch face (which has many complications) I see roughly 30% faster battery depletion.
I did a soft reset before my latest charge to 100% but it’s still the same. I plan to move back to Athletics in a few days to validate it’s indeed the watch face. No other settings were changed. At least not intentionally. -
@gkaempfer yep noticed it on my SRs, reported by other users too.

I also see increased drain with this watch face, but only when the watch is worn. No drain during the night when the watch lies on the desk.
-
I suspect it did impact my S9PP so I changed it after half a day

Yes, I have the battery problem too. With both the SR2 and the V2.

Might be related to using compass data (?) It’s updated real-time when the compass complication is selected. Maybe the watch face keeps the compass active.

@gkaempfer Indeed, noticed also the same, changed to my old one juste to check if i see some changes

@gkaempfer I noticed increased battery drain on my Race 1 after installing the Vector so went back to Outback Adventure.
Annoyingly I’m still seeing the battery draining much quicker than it did previously despite un-installing the Vector completely…

@halajos This is my hypotheses as well!
The other is. The AOD is quite bright. It could be helpful if the numbers were in colour and if the number weren’t filled in (like the AOD of Outback Adventure

@Mattg576 Me too! But then I reset it and it seems like back to normal.

I do not experience a bigger battery drain with Race S. Lucky me.
