@pavel.samokha Thanks for the video! One question about Track run activity. Should I get clean smoothed track with Vertical 2 on 200m oval? Because it doesn’t work, the track is same “noisy” as with normal run activity. Or does it work only on 400m oval?

@OutdoorMan I agree with you that this is kind of a mock up. Very similar to current morning report, but still different

@2b2bff yes but mine doesn’t have this purple background for example. I thought it’s re-designed or something. Ok, not so important anyway.

At this Screenshot you can see AVG Pace Chart at the Dashboard 😀 that would be cool. Dont have this widget

RHR is already available on the main dashboard, both during sleep and during the day.
In Italian: FC min. sonno (Minimum sleep HR) / FC min. diurna (Minimum daytime HR).

@Manuel-Extreme Yes, but as far as I know the resting heartrate is not equal the minimum heartrate. Its some mystical value you have directly after waking up or after resting a few minutes on the couch.
But at least for me these values don’t differ too much, maybe 3 or 4 beats. And in the modern metrics resting heartrate is not used anymore or is it? At least it doesn’t update the zones like max Heartrate

@Bigb0zz Interesting, since RHR is somewhat tied with sleep tracking that might improve experience for people that do not set their RHR correctly if it would be set by this. I compared my RHR on Coros while I was trying it and it usually ended up being 2beats over my avg night HR, which kind of makes sense.

I am wondering if this is a mockup, or Run specific?

                          Screenshot 2026-02-13 at 15.01.27.png

My brain straight away notices that the time is before the alarm so it means either the mockup designer didn’t pay attention, or a new sleep wave based alarm option is coming!

@Steven-Hambleton the alarm in the morning report is only shown if the alarm is in the future, so you can turn it off easily…

@pavel.samokha Vertical Run sport has been mentioned several times in that video as a new sport mode introduced in 2025.

I have just tried using it on my watch and it shows the following:
1st data screen: Ascent, Altitude, Vertical Speed in ft/hour, Elapsed time.
2nd data screen: Distance, HR, Ascent, Elapsed time
3rd data screen: Splits - seem to be focused on power

I wonder how it is different from Trail run with customized data screens other than focusing on vertical speed rather than pace? Also, if such Vertical Run activity was synced to Strava, will it appear in Strava as a Run or Trail Run?

Personally I pay tons of attention to vertical metrics and have a whole data screen dedicated to 4 different vertical metrics, but I record most of my runs as trail runs. I rarely do an activity that is a pure vertical run. Usually it is a mix of steep vertical and more runnable terrain.

Also, I wanted to mention that in my opinion, when a watch is configured in imperial units, using feet/hour unit for vertical speed is misguided for dynamic activities like Vertical Run or Trail Run when running on mountain terrain. For most people that would produce 4 digit numbers in the order of 1000-6000 ft/hour that are difficult to glance at, difficult to reason about, and that are too unstable - there is too much fluctuation in the last 2-3 digits, which makes reading these numbers difficult. Feet/minute is a much better unit which produces vertical speed in 0-100 range. That’s what Ambit series used as a unit for vertical speed, and that made much more sense.

Garmin: Forerunner 210, Forerunner 610, Fenix 6X, Fenix 7X Ti

@Steven-Hambleton ehm - why? What do you need the information about an alert in the past in the morning report?

It’s a shame that there won’t be a sleep phase based smart alarm - it worked really well on my Fitbit - I miss that feature!

That’s a different topic altogether. To have such an alarm you need a very good detection of sleep phase, what Suunto has not. 🤷
