      Hi everyone,
I would like to ask if anyone has experienced similar behavior with Suunto 5 Peak in cold weather.
      Description of the issue:
When using the watch outdoors at negative temperatures (around -5°C to -10°C), the physical buttons stop responding or respond very inconsistently.
      Important details:
At room temperature and in summer, all buttons work perfectly
The issue appears only in cold outdoor conditions
The watch is clean, well maintained and regularly rinsed with water
      No visible mechanical damage
Touchscreen is not involved — only physical buttons
This makes it very difficult (sometimes impossible) to start/stop activities or navigate menus during winter workouts.
I understand that performance can degrade in cold weather, but since Suunto 5 Peak is specified to work down to -20°C, I’m wondering:
Is this a known limitation of the buttons in cold conditions?
Have other users experienced the same behavior with Suunto 5 Peak (or similar models)?
Is there any recommended workaround or explanation from a technical point of view?
Any feedback or shared experience would be greatly appreciated.
      Thanks!
      Alexander
