Map ruler: is it possible to display absolute altitude of a point?

Is there a way to make the ruler in map mode display the absolute altitude (elevation) of the selected point, and not only the horizontal distance from my current position?

I have Suunto Vertical 2.

I don’t think so.
It would mean that maps also have altitude values in parallel and it is a totally other kind of data.

Workaround (if possible to be implemented) would be to have some labels of certain contour lines. That would be a great improvement IMO 🤩
