Can AMOLED screens be polished?
I’m wondering if, eventually, an AMOLED screen without sapphire (like the one on the Race S) can be polished to remove the small micro-scratches that might appear with use.
What do you think?

@enriqueescoms the display is behind the glass, it can’t get scratched. What gets the scratches is the glass, that protects the display, therefore the type of display is irrelevant.

@halajos Okay, I understand. So I suppose it IS possible to repair any micro-scratches on the glass by polishing it, like any other conventional watch, right?

@enriqueescoms I would not try to polish anything from the hardened glass. If it was plastic like in older watches, this could work. On the gorilla glass this will likely cause more damage.
Maybe check here for another idea if the scratch annoys you very much: https://www.reddit.com/r/GarminWatches/comments/1fimohw/how_i_removed_deep_scratches_on_epix_2_screen/
