@gerasimos Why do mentions of bugs or not-so-good (in my subjective opinion) solutions hurts you so much?
It’s just a watch, not a religion.
It’s worth mentioning bugs because Suunto is very slow to fix them. -

@duffman19 I know these guys rely on the money they get from reviews, but who in the world needs a review where they are just looking at images from the internet. Pure garbage. He might as well do one of those Ai generated YouTube videos. At least it will be accurate and without Garmin compares.

He is one of the biggest Garmin fanboys on Youtube. I trust his Garmin content, but everything else is iffy.
When he did his lab VO2 test I think Suunto was #1 or #2, but because that did not meet the narrative he wanted he glossed over it and barely mentioned it. Instead he focused on Coros and Garmin.
If you want honest unbiased reviews in the US on sports watches DC and Desfit are the ones to see. Beyond that…

@RightNow A trail marathon with approx. 6 hours duration. The watch has consumed about 10% battery.

@runomatic Just for fun: what mode did you use? And was it with maps or SuuntoPlus apps?

@Horizontal_2 Trailrunning Mode with maps.
I was basically constantly on the map page because it was a run where you were on the track without route markings.

Ignore the heart rate part. That’s outdated in the context of the Vertical2
I think it’s one of the few reviewers who do ackn owldge sluggishness in Garmin mapping experience
But also does talk about the limitations of Suunto.

And he did the Winter Spine recently with a Vertical 2… -
