Chase the Summit. Apparently he’s confused as well. Although he doesn’t actually have the watch yet, so not a real review I guess.

@duffman19 A pointless effort to boost reach and viewership.
A review without any equipment.
YouTube is full of this kind of useless spam -
@maszop I don’t disagree, but Dave usually has reliable reviews on par with DesFit and the like. Looks like he planned to have a more “first look” review available for the release, but didn’t get the watch due to shipping issues.
However, I think his insights reflect what most of us, as potential buyers, are thinking at the moment.

@duffman19 The title of the video is “Suunto Vertical 2 is HERE!”
It’s absurdly pathetic. -
@maszop I feel silly defending a YouTuber on an Internet forum, but are you familiar with Chase the Summit? The guy has been doing in-depth reviews of sports watches for quite a few years now. I’m pretty sure it’s his full-time gig. While he might not be my first source for such content, I think his insights deserve at least a little respect.
And if we’re going off of video titles and thumbnails, then I think we can probably call most tech reviews “useless spam.”

@maszop something in V2 which is not pathetic or bad or bug-less or problematic or ready for war ?

@dcrainmaker written review - https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2025/09/suunto-vertical-2-in-depth-review-flashlight.html
(I like how “flashlight” made the URL.)

@gerasimos Why do mentions of bugs or not-so-good (in my subjective opinion) solutions hurts you so much?
It’s just a watch, not a religion.
It’s worth mentioning bugs because Suunto is very slow to fix them. -
Please let’s have only reviews here, not discussion about the watch itself. There is a separate topic for the latter.
