    Downloading offline maps problem

      Hi,
      I yesterday picked up my new Nautic which replaces my good old Eon Core computer that served me perfectly for the past 5 years.
      I really like the new DC, however I am having issues downloading offline maps. The DC is connected to my home wifi, as well as properly linked to my Suunto app. However, when I go to the option to download an offline map, I am getting a message on the app - waiting for download to begin, on the DC I get the black screen with the message written in green - downloading map - and that’s it. Nothing really progresses. I left it for an hour - and nothing has progressed.
      By the way - even when I try to use an online map - entering the map widget, I am getting GPS coordinates for my location, it searches for a maps - but again - I see nothing but the white lines matrix…
      Any idea what could be going on?

        I just wish to update that the problem was solved by clearing the Suunto App cash, and then it worked perfectly.

          @irousso don’t have a Nautic myself. but if map downloading is similar to other Suunto watches, there’s two options to start the download (in case the wifi does not have any other restrictions etc):
          a) put the watch on the charger
          b) confirm on the watch that you want to download maps without the watch on the charger

            @irousso just double check the WiFi is listed in SA for the watch.

              Thanks for the replies.
              I did two things - and I am not sure what solved it - I deleted the cache of my Suunto app (in case there were issues from my previous dive-computer), but I also tried to download the maps while the computer was connected to the charger - so not sure what was the solution… 🙂
              At least it works… which I guess is the important thing…
