Using software version 2.44.52 on a Suunto Vertical.

I paused the activity at the end of a run only to find the bottom button wouldn’t end the activity. When the middle button was pressed the options screen appear, but then disappeared. The top button would restart the activity, but nothing else seemed to function.

A soft reset cleared the fault, but also cleared the activity.

      Has anyone else experienced this?

I’ve just seen that software release 2.48.16 attempts to correct a bottom button lock problem. I’m hoping the issue posted above doesn’t reoccur.

About a week ago I had this issue! When pausing the activity and then attempting to end it, it would lap instead. It seems the actual workout had been bugging out as the GPS points were very far apart.
