Guided workout questions
-
Hi all. I recently purchased a Race 2. When following a guided workout provided by my training plan (TrainAsOne) I get pace guidance in the form of a pace gauge and vibration.
I have one question about the pace gauge display:
- The pace gauge has an arrow pointing at my current pace, but there is also a black gap that moves around the gauge. What is the gap?
Some about the pace guidance / vibrations:
- There seem to be several types of vibration. What’s the difference?
- Can I disable the vibration? It’s mostly annoying
- The guidance is quite “tight”, I have to be within a few seconds/km to stay in the green zone. Can I make the guidance more relaxed so it’s easier to stay in the green zone?
One question about guided workouts in general:
- Can I see the guided workout plan anywhere in the Suunto ecosystem? I can currently only see the workouts in TrainAsOne mobile app
Thank you!

@Alex-Jurkiewicz most of the questions you should ask TrainAsOne.
I use TrainAsOne as well, but I don’t get what you mean with the black gap that moves around - do you happen to have a photo by chance?
The pace vibrations you get when you are too low, too high and when you cross the borders to “just right”. And I think there is even a vibration when you exactly hit the pace requested. Yeah, it’s annoying as it is too much, but it cannot be disabled at the moment.
The tightness of the guidance can only be influence by TrainAsOne.
Currently neither the Suunto App now the Watch can display those guides, sadly. That is a well requested feature to see the workout that you are about to do before you do it…
