Nylon watch strap option

I just got my Suunto nylon watch strap and it’s so much nicer to wear than the standard silicone straps.

You should make them an option when choosing a watch!

@Steven-Hambleton agreed. First thing I do when getting a new watch from Suunto is change the strap.

@Audaxjoe going to throw some love to Suunto here, cause I disagree : I really like my blue/green silicone strap that came with the Race S.
I also have a sport (nylon) orange one, that I like even more, but since receiving the Race S I didn’t swap it, because the blue one is quite cool.
But do agree that this should be an option when buying the watch (like for the Suunto Run).

@tailwind_mrs haha. I get a reaction to the silicone it is nothing personal against the strap I like the strap it doesn’t like me‍️

@Audaxjoe Exactly this, plus the latch system catches on the desk when I’m at work. Just not a fan at all.

The Apple Watch band never dig into my skin or got caught on anything, I really liked that strap!

@Steven-Hambleton I like Suunto nylon strap less than Garmin Ultrafit or even less expensive Abanen strap from Amazon. After a few months it has stretched out and become less comfortable. I think my next one will be Garmin Ultrafit.

@sky-runner totally agree I have returned my suunto bands and buy 2 ultra fit they are way more comfortable and a bit more discreet to wear

@sky-runner My only concern would be the pin size with the Race S.

@Steven-Hambleton I bought Barton spring bars that somebody else recommended for Race S. They are a bit thicker and fit perfectly - not loose at all. Also, I compared them to spring bars that came with Suunto nylon band.
