Santo Run lost connection to sensors on extended pause
-
I was on a long club ride yesterday and recording on my Suunto Run as well as Wahoo Roam bike computer. The watch was paired to both a HR strap and bike power meter. We stopped at a cafe for half hour or so and I paused the activity on both devices. On resuming the activity when we left, the watch was never able to reconnect to the two sensors, while the Wahoo had no issues and connected immediately. I tried manually reconnecting the sensors on the watch, but it just showed the “pairing” screen and never reconnected. The final Suunto activity therefore had heart rate and power data missing for the second half of the ride, whereas the Wahoo activity was complete.
Not sure if this was a one-off anomaly, or some underlying bug in this kind of scenario. Will do some more testing.
Any other Run users seen similar behaviour?

@owend I sometimes take pauses though I never paid attention to their duration and so far I have never had this issue (only connected a HR belt though)
