Hello, I am trying to set my start drive depth at 3.0 m., which, according to the manual, is the max. However, my Ocean shows 2.0 m. as the maximum depth to set for the auto start depth of a dive. Suunto support (I suspect an AI) suggests that it is a firmware localization.

Can anyone confirm their start dive depth and perhaps help me with finding the cause for my 2.0 m., while the manual indicates 3.0m?

      Many thanks!
      Martijn

        Hello guys,
It seems like I have the same problem. According to the manual the start dive depth can be adjusted to be 3m, in the watch I can only set up to 3m. This is quiet annoying, since the pool where I teach my courses is 2.8m deep. I would like to be able to set it to 3m so it never starts counting dives in a pool.
Can someone from Suunto please reply as to why the instructions say up to 3m but the watch only supports up to 2m.

The „problem“ is known. Unfortunately, there is no solution and no statement from Suunto. 😞 We have already discussed it before, as it also leads to incorrect entries in the statistics.

Pray it will be corrected in the next update, within a year.

It is easier to say it is just mistake in the user manual.
