Wing 2 not connecting to Samsung 23 Ultra

Android latest up to date version: 15I just bought a wing 2 but i could not get it to connect to my phone.
What I did:
Open the box and charge the device.
Hold the ‘+’ for 5 sec to pair device trough suunto app.
Device is not recognized and app prompts to manually connect.
Connect trough bluetooth by pairing the Wing 2 found by my phone.
Bluetooth give me a pairing prompt and i select ‘pair’
Tries to pair untill headset will shut off due to inactivity.
During this time the leds arw blinking.
Without the success sound on the headset it will show on the phone under paired devices.
When i turn the headset back on it wont connect and during this time its still not recognized in the app.
When i connect the headset to my macbook it succesfully connects flawlessly with the connection success sound.
Aswell if I connect it to an older samsung.My other suuntk devices suunto Race S is working with no problem and is connected to this phone.
For troubleshoot I have done:
Reset bluetooth cache
Remove device from pairing
Restart phone
Reinstall suunto app.There is already a ticket existing with CS but If i dont have a response i will return it to the shop by friday.
I will not accept sending it in for repairs since its literally new out of the box.

@aerodynamicviolence I was not able to pair successfully to my Samsung Fold 7 device. I uninstalled the Suunto app, and then retried pairing. That did the trick. Hope it works for others. The Getting Started guide does show that the steps in this order - pair via bluetooth, then download and pair in the app. But this would be a problem for those who already have the app installed.
