Software Update 2.44.46 (2025 Q3)
-
@Frederick-Rochette this is known
-
@GiPFELKiND also the same for me. I think it is because the HRV data on the watch was removed by the update (my race s was like a new watch after the update). Therfore the calculation on the watch is based on different HRV Values than the App did, becasue the App contains much mor HRV vaules.

I set up an access code. I took the watch off my wrist and the screen hasn’t locked for 5 minutes. Is there another setting?
Works for me.
Make sure, the OHR sensor is looking at the sky -
@Egika Here’s what I did, and it worked. I restarted the watch and synced it with the app. No problem.

SV updated. With the firmware before the actual one bike power was set to 0 every 60 seconds. With the updated firmware bike power (Fazua Evation) is limited to speed and cadence, power is no longer available. And cadence is not shown on the watch (field cadence in custom sports mode), the speed can be from GPS or the sensor.
Now I have to wait for the next update to get bike power again or the option to choose foot pod or power pod, as in the firmware before!?
It’s frustrating. New firmware, new bugs. Time to go back to the Spartan Ultra without gimmicks and new features, which causes troubles and frustration.
️
After the update and trying to get bike power, I couldn’t reconnect to my phone and had to delete the Bluetooth connection and setup it again.
-
@Mads-Hintz-Madsen it’s funny, because before fw update I had to pair my powermeter when I changed bikes and when I paired my quarq (sram rival) powermeter it never asked me for my crank lenght and when I paired my assiomas I was asked for crank length. After update I paired my quark and it asked me for crank lenght, value was saved but when I paired assiomas, it asked me for crank lenght and value can not be saved

First Run with the Race S after update: No Power Drops anymore, yippie!!!
Everything else also seem to work so far. Battery Level for Suunto Smart Sensor is a nice little feature
-
Vertical install was quick. No issues noted so far. Was able to download a small map and it was rather quick. It did require me to add a network I previously had connected. I did get warnings that it had to be on the charger but once dismissed it worked well. Will test activity later today
-
Installed on Vertical. Lost all intensity zone settings (default HR, running pace and power, and cycling HR zones). Max HR remained correctly set and all personal info as well.
-
Race s did it again. Reboot during activity.
-
updated… not that great an experience though…
- lost all sport customizations! (this is veery annoying)
- lost all logbook records on the watch
- the watch seems to take ages to lock to ask for a password when i remove it from the wrist…
-
Update on SV went without problems, but all my sport modes were gone
downloading maps seems to be a little bit faster than before, but it’s really draining the battery
two maps with about 420MB and the battery dropped about 8%

Hi, after sunto race s firmware update I have issues with smart heart rate belt. The heart rate tracking is not in real time anymore, but only for around 20 second every one minute.
With the race s of my wife, not updated, the cardio belt work flawlessly. -
@SuperFlo75 My SV now also has the update. Everything worked without problems. All values have been retained.
-
SV updated without any problem. Sportmodes and everything else are still there. I never had any problems with new firmware and hope it stays that way.
-
Same for me. Update went smooth and all settings remained intact
-
Can someone explain why some of us use the settings, and some not?
-
@SuperFlo75 Not clear, in testing I had HR, Pace and Power values lost but did not have a watch reset.
-
@Jaakers Oh no! I was hoping that this update somehow helps
. No automatic resume after the crash?
-
@SuperFlo75 And also only parts are lost for some. I have my HR Zones and Sleep data - but the Power Zones are resetted
