Basically the watch behaves like new, I have to set everything up. But apparently Iām not the only one
oddly mine preserved the widgets selection and order, the buttons shortcuts, and luckily the downloaded maps
The fact that at least the personal data cannot be restored from the app is quite annoying, as the customized activities
Hopefully in the next future a restore option will be included(!) -

Race, yes
maybe it depends on the widgets, I have the Maps on the lower button, the Weather on the central one (crown), and the Notifications on the upper oneBTW: after the update I (stupidly) pressed the upper button to recall the last used activity, but being none (due to the partial reset) the watch froze and I had to restart it

@Stefano-M64 Mee too
Factory reset without warning. Thanks Suunto

@mabe2k I wonder if the manual lap button press bug is fixed with structured workout intervals?
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos why roll out features, that have known severe bugs? I donāt get that. Just delay itā¦
Funnily the widget says 57% -āmittelmƤĆgā and the App 73% - good. But as I scroll down in the widget the text says I have a good recovery⦠This matches the appā¦

Great update! canāt wait to install it on ny SV.
I am a runner and a cyclist. I particularly appreciate the new feature āPairing multiple sensorsā. This feature was highly requested.
Why did not get this feature earlier? I can see that even S9PP is supported.Edit: Dont take it wrong. all I mean is Better late than never

I just installed the update and went ahead to re-pair my sensors but noticed a change:
My hr belt paired as normal but Iāve also got a combined speed/cadence sensor but after pairing I wasnāt asked to calibrate the wheel circumference?
Does anyone know if it is not required anymore, maybe a change in how it calculates or is it a bug?
-
@Tieutieu This might be one that you want to get in front of. After the update it had me start watch setup like it was a completely new watch.
Super excited about changes, just wish I did not lose the workouts that were on the watch for the week. Not a big deal, they are registering in TSS, just not the log.
-
@Wilson75 Just test it. Now I can pair Garmin speed sensor AND Garmin cadence sensor. BUT ONLY ONE CAN BE CONNECTED AT SAME TIME.

@pavel.samokha Pairing Assioma Uno power meter pedals has issues for me. The power meter is found and it pairs.
Now the default crank length is set to 170mm so I need to change the crank length to 172.5mm which is what I actually have on my bike. However, after selecting the 172.5mm crank length in the watch, the watch displays āSavingā for around a minute before it then returns to the āSet Crank Lengthā menu without having changed the crank length (still listed as the wrong 170mm).
So my power meter reading on the watch is now incorrect as the crank length seemingly cannot be modified from the default value.
Hope, this can be fixed asap
as this now makes the main activity stats such as power, calories, TSS, CTL, ATL and TSB incorrect when using my power meter. Basically, this bug has now ābrokenā my watch as road cycling is my main activity that I use the watch forEdit: I am using Suunto Race btw.
Edit 2: Actually the bug is such that the watch cannot write the crank length to the actual power meter pedals. So if you have other means to get the correct crank length written to the power meter pedals then that will work. I can use the Favero smartphone app for that. So it is all good now. So the bug is basically that the watch fails to write the crank length to the Assioma Uno power meter pedals. This bug might even have been there before this latest update - I donāt rememberā¦Edit 3: I did some testing and I am now pretty confident that the watch is actually able to write the crank length to the power meter pedals. However, the watch is not able to read and show the current crank length. So whenever you go to the crank length setting in the watch, it will always show 170mm even if the actual crank length stored in the power meter pedals is something else. This was confirmed by writing different crank length values to the power meter pedals using the watch and then checking the stored value from the power meter pedals using the Favero smartphone app. So in summary, you can configure the crank length using the watch. But the configured crank length cannot be displayed/checked in the watch itself. You will to use the Favero app to confirm that the crank length is configured correctly.

Will the update for the vertical be released today?
