Suunto repair center bad experience
-
Good morning! I sent my Suunto Vertical to the repair center three weeks ago and I still haven’t received any response. The service they provide is a disgrace; no one answers my emails. On the other hand, when I started the repair, my watch was still under warranty, but after all this time, it’s already reached its two-year warranty. However, the European Union ruled in 2022 that electronic products have a three-year warranty. How does this apply? Since my watch was manufactured in Finland, I’m sending it from Spain for repair right now. Thank you.

Good morning, after the repair performed at the Suunto repair center, which took a month to repair, they changed the pressure sensor and reprogrammed, the watch is again exhibiting the same bad behavior. After training, whether in water or running, the screen and buttons freeze. I performed a soft reset and it no longer turns on, leaving the screen black. The battery charge was at 98%. Today I am sending the watch back to the repair center. I cannot wait another month for another repair.

@Max-maxilifeguard I’m affraid that 1 month will not be enough now
I’ve sent my Race S 9.07 and till today, no sign of having it back.
Their responses via chat or e-mail are allways the same - “we don’t know when it will be fixed, you have to wait”.
Very dissapointing way of handling the service process. I will think few times before buying any other Suunto watch, despite of my great symapthy to the brand.

@droopsio they have the same answer to me…

@Max-maxilifeguard In case you’ve sent it, now all you can do is to wait unfortunetaly. Hard to tell how long.
Also my feeling is, that at least in regad to e-mail, they may be operated by China acctually, despite of having the watch in Finland (?). Each time I ask question in midday CET, I get responses in the night, like 2-4 a.m. This extend whole process of communication. -

How did you come to that conclusion?
