Pre installed Guides by Suunto won't load
-
@markcameron666 The watch must be connected by BT to the phone. Select the watch so you can see the sync window and icon of the watch. Scroll down to Guides. Is the Guide you want synced to the watch? If not select the Suunto Plus Store from the watch menu and select the guide you want. You should get a popup for install on watch. The watch then needs to sync and the guide should load. I just tried this for 12 Strength Exercises and it worked.
Once you confirm the guide is on the watch, start a weight training exercise and from SuuntoPlus on the watch prior to starting the exercise scroll down and select the 12 Strength Exercises on the watch. You can only have 2 S+ apps running at one time. -
@Brad_Olwin that doesn’t work, the error comes up as you select the guide as per the screenshots above

I can create custom guides myself and sync them an this works, but not the ones from the store.
I believe you’d have to test it on the new or freshly setup watch, it seems only affect new users from what I read on reddit. I hope that helps.thanks for looking into it

I’ve been in touch with the Almighty Suunto Support team (thanks Michael
) and I’ve been informed of the new software update for RACE that is coming out today! We’ve been asked to see if that sorts the issue out!
Thanks,
Marek -
@AllinSuunto I am running FieldTest firmware so that could explain the issue.
-
Same issue, I already mentioned it on a different conversation:

@markcameron666 Thank you for this. For days, I am trying to find a solution to this. I don’t know how many times, I deleted then re-downloaded Suunto app and deleted and re-connected on BT of the phone as Suunto customer service suggested.
-
so I’ve chased the support today and they told me they don’t know the specifics about when the new software going to be released
-
@AllinSuunto usually once per quarter, hotfix excluded
-
@isazi Hi Isazi, so do you think we can expect it corrected sooner by a hotfix?
