Poor watch faces

@Arju-Ambin Oh sure, I didn’t get the Valentine’s Day watch. I’m still waiting for the Songkran Day watchface, the Thai New Year’s Day.

Haha I’m sure there are many days to be celebrated. Maybe a customizable watch face where the user can change the background using the Suunto app would be more suitable instead of a watch face for every celebration. Some of the other smart/sport watch brands allow for this. That way devs can focus on the quality and usability of watch faces suites to different fitness scenarios rather than focusing on making one suited for a celebratory day.

@isazi Thanks, waiting very much

@isazi More complications? Excellent. What about Bitcoin price with hourly sync?
Don´t take it seriosusly… or you can
-
@Tomas-Fejfar sorry, more complications available on the watchface, for more complications kind a firmware update is always necessary

That was actually funny

I’d like an option to customize the default Vertical watch face. When you press a button, the seconds appear. It would be nice if that could be dynamically changed. If you press the middle button, the seconds appear. When it gets back to normal, it could be something else (not blank/empty like it is now). For example, it could show you your pulse or the solar activity or the altitude. Would be quite nice and it definitely won’t ruin the watch face!

@smirkz yes, I was thinking about multiple watchfaces as another way.
Now we have got one more watchface that has 5 complications and it is better a bit -
@MikeKhachmakhov Well, being a former Garmin user, the idea of having these abominations again and on a Suunto as well is kind of… revolting in all honesty. People would have a harder time navigating the watch face than navigating the whole watch.

@MikeKhachmakhov I have a serious problem with this. The watch faces that people chose was the number one complaint when it came to average battery life. The fact that Suunto is not overloading their watch faces with data is what actually differentiates them (at least in my eyes) from the wild west that is the Connect IQ store, for example. Also, there needs to be THAT brand which wants to keep the experience bug free and as optimized as possible, and that is Suunto.
