How is the Power Measurement in the watch
-
Hello, I’d like to know how the wattage measurement is measured on the wrist while running. I don’t have a STRYD or anything else, but I still get wattage numbers displayed in the app. How does the watch determine the power and wattage? I can’t find anything about this in the manual. Can anyone give me an answer? Thank you.

@GiPFELKiND I am not certain but elevation gain, pace likely factor in. When testing this feature I tested against a Stryd. I have also tested against Apple Watch Ultra. Suunto power values are very similar to both of those, all three are virtually identical.

@Brad_Olwin And I like Suunto running power more than on Garmin, because I got similar numbers as on bike with 4iii power meter according to my feelings. Garmin is about 100W higher.
