Suggestion: Notifications display and interaction

Current situation
Notifications like Whatsapp are trimmed with dots and/or text cut offs and don’t include pictures.
Every (small or large) notification is an item in the list.Desired situation
Notifications could have a longer character limit and perhaps show images. Showing images can be a user enabled option.
Notifications could perhaps be joined per application, to then show a (compact) list. This would make reading multiple notifications of one app or in case of messages, of one contact, easier.
The Race S has a very nice screen, it allows to have compact information (sharp high resolution), it would be sad to waste the screen estate on spaced out information.
