Suunto race s settings
-
Hi, I’m new to Suunto and trying to get my head round the settings after years of Garmin use. A few questions if anyone can help.
• I can’t seem to add heart rate to the watch face, it’s not available as a complication option even though oxygen saturation is?
• Can I add altitude to my cycling activity display screen? During mountain biking I like to check my currently elevation / total elevation but can’t seem to see or find an option when in an activity
• Is there a way to pre-program in the app sleep/wake times where you want set the watch to power save?
Sorry for all the questions, but after years of Garmin I expected these features to be pretty standard ?

Yes you can, at least with the last firmware and some watchfaces. You choose the watchface and then change the complication for the one that shows the HR.

Yes you can creating a custom sport mode in the app, in that case total elevation = ascent.

No that I know.

Well, Garmin may be the most popular brand but doesn’t mean that the other brands have to follow them.
Enjoy your new watch, pretty sure you will!!

Yes you can. Go to settings>sleep>Auto Do Not Disturb and set the time period. (not quite power save, but guess this is what you were getting at? and it does save power…)

@James-Eastwood Yes, I do know this but OP was talking about power saving. With DND I think that you only disable notifications and screen wakes, but the rest (HR, BT, etc still works)

@cosme.costa i guess disabling HR and sleep tracking would result in powersaving, but perhaps that is not the way one wants to do it. Unsure if wake on wrist-lift is disabled in the DND time frame.
