Race S causes volume drop on headphones, no voice feedback
-
Hi all,
So I’ve used my Race S on a number of runs, getting from 5k to marathon. Today I set off exactly the same, activating a run on the watch and with BBC Sounds playing, but I had no ‘starting’ voice announcement, the music volume dropped (and didn’t come back up), and I had no voice distance announcements. No beeps, buzzes, etc.
I found that restarting my headphones caused the volume to return to normal but as soon as I started a run again the same would happen. Tried a variety of DND, voice feedback and BT changes but nothing helped. I didn’t have the chance to restart the watch at that time.
Anyone else encountered this? And more importantly any fixes or settings to avoid, etc?

I had this happen once and only once a few months ago. The audio feedback is managed by the suunto app and I found killing it and restarting it and doing a sync to the watch (to make sure bluetooth was connected) fixed the issue. This was on iOS though, not android.

@far-blue very same on Android. Kill the app and restart fixes missing audio. it’s a cross platform bug!
