Garbage battery life on brand new Suunto Race S

The battery life on this watch is consistently draining, overnight it dropped from 100% to 34%. This is unacceptable behavior for a brand new watch with “7 days” of battery life. I have literally not even tried any GPS functions and such and the battery is draining damn quick.
I have to go on a multi-day hike and I don’t feel safe using this watch at all. So disappointed.
I have tried hard resetting the watch to no results.
