What sport mode is missing from our watches in your opinion?
-
On my way for a fencing session after many years : unless I’m wrong, FENCING is missing
-
As winter is starting I definitely miss
sledgingI also know about some friends who keep missing this… It’s like ski Alpin for the metrics, but it’s annoying to mix those sports up and be not able to differentiate.

Just because you asked…
–> CavingAs someone who went on his first-ever wild caving excursion this past weekend, I second a Caving sports mode! Tracking the activity using “unspecified sport” just felt a little unsatisfying

Pool Swimming mode requires backlight to be on by default. Or at least to be able to remember last settings applied to the mode.
Having relatively small display, makes Suunto less suitable for water trainings. Low light under the water and small display ruin everything -

@Sportsfreund
Usually, during intensive fast swimming you have about 1 sec to check distance/swolf. I do it while flipping at the end of lap. All this under water with somewhat foggy goggles.
Turning on the backlight improves the readability but this settings option is disabled by default and I need to turn it on manually before the training. Sometimes I forget to set the backlight on and this ruins the training because I need to stop.
Remembering this option selection for the future training might make life easier. -
@Tieutieu I admit that I only use my own ski touring mode. What are the automatic ski touring features of the native mode? Are sport modes documented somewhere?
-
Canicross!
-
HYROX with outdoor GPS
-
Indoor stair running.
No gps only baro/steps to measure elevation
-
@Rayfox They added it in the update that came out today.
-
Speed climbing
Bouldering -
@Rayfox This would be nice. At this moment I use Walking which work fine for me
-
And personally I would like to have a scooter riding
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos not a sport mode, but drill mode in swimming
-
@Александр-Даниленко same drill mode please
-
@Александр-Даниленко indeed, it’s been missing for a while, last seen on Ambit 3

No specific sport or other 6 is the option to track activities with the kick bike. 🫣
The main thing is that yoga and Pilates are available twice, and the category “other” from 1 to 6 without the option to rename.

I would very much like to see an Adventure Racing mode compliant with ARWS rules added. It would be a great help to those of us who participate in Adventure Racing.
-
Stairmaster mode has been mentioned previously but afaik is still not there.
It would be great to have all that ascent/climbing tracked.
