I only meant to point out that Suunto has a particular design philosophy. Many of its users appreciate that and some of us choose the brand because of it. There is also reason to believe[I meant to say, “One could speculate…”] that this aesthetic might change in the future, what with the company’s newish owner and recent movements away from the Nordic region. I personally hope not, but you never know. -

@MikeKhachmakhov I think Suunto’s philosophy is that watch faces follow the design and use of the watch UI. Simple, clean and useful. I and I think others personally like that. I understand about user choice but resources are limited and I don’t think a lot will happen. However, I do think you will see a few more watch faces/complications and hopefully more choices among complications.

Date, battery charge, weather, steps.This is actually not true. As simplistic as they are - you can see more on them. Some examples: sunrise/sunset times, notifications count, HR, moonphase, air pressure, height, personal resources, SpO2, distance covered this week, solar charging status etc.

@kriskus The point is that you cannot see them simultaneously on the main screen.
People here shows screenshot of the other side of insanity where screen is bloated.
But we could have just 1 screen that has 5 complications -

Haha I’m sure there are many days to be celebrated. Maybe a customizable watch face where the user can change the background using the Suunto app would be more suitable instead of a watch face for every celebration. Some of the other smart/sport watch brands allow for this. That way devs can focus on the quality and usability of watch faces suites to different fitness scenarios rather than focusing on making one suited for a celebratory day.
