Vertical speed on altimeter widget or clock face
-
Is it possible to get the following info to display on one of the Vertical watch faces without having to log an activity?
On my old Vector the Altimeter watch face showed Altitude, Vertical Speed and Time all in reasonably sized figures (I have some eyesight issues) - for me for ski touring and mountain activities this is the information I need to see constantly.
So far I have been unable to get all 3 to display on the watch face without recording an activity, and even then (in ‘skitouring’ mode) the time is displayed so small as to be unreadable…Any solutions out there?

@SimonC
for the watch face, no solution. Vertical Speed while not logging an activity ?
And in activity you can create a customized sport mode and you will then be able to create a three data screen with your prefered values (included time). -
I owned a Vector too and used to look often at the ascent speed while hiking, since that gives you an idea on how fast you are going and allow to estimate the remaining altitude difference to your destination. Since the Vertical/Race watch family can show altitude and barometric pressure, they could easily display also the vertical speed as a complication, it’s odd that isn’t present as a choice.
I agree with you about the ridiculous small font of the time field shown on the top of the activity fields, it’s actually useless, especially while in outdoor activities.
