@far-blue Yep I had read that too. It would be great but I’m not very confident nevertheless
-
Better weather widget app. 10 day forecast, hourly forecast for the next 24 h at least.
More watch faces with the ability to add more information to one.
Enable more 1-2 more apps during activity
Other than that quite happy

@Sergio-Sierra das kannst doch am iPhone im Navi einstellen. Meldung an … wenn Ort xxx erreicht ist.
-

Is the step counter and sleeping recorder fixed yet?
Have sold my Vertical but those two features where so far off from reality that they could not be trusted.
For me the watch always told me I have been sleeping for ~ 2 - 4 hours, when I’m reality it was more then 6 hours so would be good to hear of they improved that -
@Iggge My bro got GT watch pro 2 (2022) we spent full day together and we had like 200 steps difference at the end of the day. I would say Vertical is pretty accurate now, maybe sometimes don’t count few steps, but in past You could move Your hand and have 20 steps added. I finds out it “ok”.
About sleep tracking it’s USUALLY works great (time when I go sleep and wake up). Sometimes works wrong but very rarely.
I think both things are in acceptable position, good enough.

@Iggge ich kann mit meiner Vertical diese Fehler auch nicht beobachten. Funktioniert alles hervorragend.
-
@Tami999 Good to hear. Get 10.000 steps with the Vertical was almost impossible before
-
@Iggge Dann schien deine einen Fehler gehabt zu haben.

@Sportsfreund
Will you try to write in English sometimes? -
@MiniForklift I vote for this function too. I was used to this from my old Timex Ironman.

Before I could get 30.000 steps sometimes. Now 15-20k~ usually. Pretty accurate I would say. Somtimes it should add more. Before update I swing hand and it added 10 steps.

A few things that still bother me with the SV:
When mobile notifications are enabled, I can’t pause the activity from the top button when a notification preview is shown. I first have to dismiss the notification from the middle button and only after that I can pause the acitivity. In many cases when cycling or running, I don’t even notice that I have a notification on my screen blocking my pausing, which leads to my activity not pausing when I intended it to pause. Super annoying, I feel like pausing should override the message preview for the reasons mentioned above.
Second thing is still the GPS accuracy. I do a lot of 10k road racing on officially measured tracks that I know are the correct distance. I’m usually the one in my group where the pace is off and the end result shows 100-200 more distance than the race was. Makes following pace a bit hard honestly. I’ve tried all the gps accuracies and the result is the same. vertical seems to be measuring the pace a bit “faster” than what it actually is.
Third thing is the fitness evaluation. All of ny race predictions are off a lot and VO2max is a lot lower than what was measured in a lab setting for me. I cannot comprehend why the algorithm shows my 10k prediciton to be 2mina slower than what I have recently raced? Makes no sense to me. It should at least predict that I can reach the result I have just reached.

If you know the distance is exact and you are planning on following the exact measured path, you can create a route of the course then use the snap to route feature in your watch which will force it to measure the predefined routes distance instead of your actual track.
