Race S OHR sensor stops working randomly (since 2.39.20)
-
Hi all,
The issue disucussed here: heart rate measurement stops - for Suunto 9 Peak Pro on 2.39.20, seems to be also true for the Race S on 2.39.20.
At least I faced the same issue after updating to 2.39.20. What I did as a workaround is downgrade the the previous firmware version as described in the 9 Peak Pro thread. A restart of the watch solves the issue only temporarily.I am not sure if this: Suunto- Race S sleep tracking not working is related to this topic or not, as the thread seems to have been created before 2.39.20 was released.
I hope Suunto is aware that itโs a problem also for the Race S? When can we expect a fix?

@Jan-H-0 Iโm having the same problems due to the q4/2024 update and basically have to reset if I want to use the OHR

Rolling back to a previous version seems to be one possible solution but then again some people are reporting that the auto update is updating the watch even if turned off.
You can find the full conversation here.
Really hope Suunto is working on fixing the issues.
