I’m sure this is a very unlikely scenario and I’ve never had it before but I thought I’d mention it as the only fix was a (soft) restart of the watch.

Just as I selected my custom running activity, while the watch was showing the start option in Grey and before it had a chance to inform me there was a scheduled structured workout, a notification arrived and I dismissed it almost instantly by pressing the crown. This left the watch showing the grey start option. None of the buttons worked, I couldn’t exit to the home watch face etc. and the watch didn’t progress forward to show the yellow start option or offer the structured workout. After a few seconds the screen dimmed so I figure it was hung, not crashed, but I had no option but to hold the button for 12s to restart.

Just thought I’d mention it FYI.

@far-blue something similar happened to me when starting a workout a few days ago. Started the watch, then it soft reset by itself, then showed 4 messages incoming, which I confirmed and then it soft resets itself another time. Ended with device reseting itself to safe state.

Had no problems ever since though.
