Statistics
-
Hello, I have bought a new Suunto ocean about 2 months ago, and I started using it for diving 3 weeks ago.
I like to use the watch as a logbook and see all my dive statistics on it.Now there is one problem sometimes when I go swimming/snorkeling i go to deep and the watch goes into dive mode. And of course saves this as a dive in my logbook and statistics. Then I delete this dive from my logbook because it was not a real dive and I don’t want to see it in my statistics, but it does not get deleted from the statistics. I now have 17 dives in my logbook wich is correct. But the statistics shows I have 22 dives. I don’t know if this is a problem with only my watch or do other users also find this problem?
I would like to get this fixed because this is in my opinion a stupid mistake gor such an expensive watch.
I am interested in other user experiences.

I have had this same issue with automatic scuba starting. When you refer to statistics, what view do you mean? In the watch or in the app?

@marbjo I am referring to the dive statistics menu on the watch. Where it shows total dives 22, max depth 31m, longest dive time 59minutes and total dive time 14:45hours.
But when I open my logbook on the watch and count the dives there are only 17, wich is right because I deleted 5. So this means the statistics menu in the watch does not recalculate.I have tried soft reset and synchronizing with the app. But I have not tried a hard reset yet because I will lose all data on the watch wich would be a bummer.

@Ryan-Kruger I see, I have the the same problem but hadn’t noticed it since my scuba stats were hidden (by me). I only freedive.

The watch statistics are correct. See the manual:
In fact you want a new fearure, “statistics on the logbook”. It would be nice. Suunto could provide us with this feature in the next update.
