Backlight during the night and raise to wake

Hello,
I own a Race. I’m contemplating buying a Vertical.
With my Race, the default screen is black. When I raise my wrist, only the time shows. If i press a button, the actual watchface shows, with backlight on.Is it possible to have this behavior with the Vertical ?
What I would like to achieve is a black/dark screen during the night, a bit more lit when I’m trying to watch the time at night, and bright when I need to use the watch.
