Getting training data from Strava
-
@JakeMarshall Rungap on iOS works flawlessly. However, keep in mind that 3rd party activities are only updated on app and not on watch. For this reason the activity history will be different between the two. Why this disparity exists, I do not know. Has been the case for a while and don’t see Suunto changing anything here.
-
@altcmd well, this is going to change in next firmware
-
@isazi good news!
-
@isazi you seem to know a lot more then you let out. stop teasing and out with it.
-
@isazi top, can’t wait for this! Do you know if all the data will be shown on imported activities in SA?

Hi, is this still valid? I want to use SmartRow (Waterrower) that export data to Strava, and then import it to Suunto App. Possilble with Rungap?
-
@JonasLarsson AFAIK RunGap will send data back of any activity type - you may have to update the “type” once you get it into SA.
-
@larrybbaker Sounds promising!

@JonasLarsson I tried it to fetch my SmartRow data from TraininPeaks and found that data was missing. Uploading a FIT file via Runalyze also was incomplete. And SyncMyTracks on Android was disappointing, too.
Native FIT import directly in the Suunto App would be cool. I asked whether this would be possible to implement but got no response…

@borgelkranz I will give Rungap a go. But I don’t know if it will work.
